I’m back!

Ok, please, hold the applause, I’ve got something to say.

Phew. Anyway, I’m back. Did I already say that?

Vacation was awesome, and best thing is, I’ve got another one coming up in 4 weeks. Yes, life is good.

Hayes really enjoyed his vacation, I think. He gave up his bottles with the nipples for an all sippy cup regimen. He started a 2 o’clock nap schedule, which seems to be working well. And… and… he’s really, really got this talking thing going on.

Now he can tell us what’s on his mind. Is he done in the car?

“All done cah ride”

Does he want to go outside, and be polite about it?

“Outside, pease”

Is he ready to go home?

“Home, uh-hu”

And he even says yes, can pick out exactly what he wants to eat if we show him choices and can make it down the stairs (with supervision) all by himself. Yes, vacation, it learning time for Hayes and… uhm.. relaxing… for us?
