You appear to be a fellow fan of 80's comedy. Surely Bachelor Party has to be in there? Ok, maybe not - but what about The Sure Thing!? Of course it's been about 10 years since I actually watched any of those films, but my tastes can't of changed that much since my late teens?

For me it's a toss-up between the first Vacation and Christmas Vacation. I'd put Office Space in the top 3. I'd find room in the Top Ten for Napoleon Dynamite, Say Anything, High Fidelity, School of Rock, and Raising Arizona. Big Lebowski is the only one on your list I haven't seen. Better Off Dead hasn't aged well in my view (kinda like Real Genius and The Sure Thing).

#1 would be Princess Bride.

Totally agreed about #1 - though my favorite line is: "Now it be a shame when folks be throwing away a perfectly good white boy like that."

I think Young Frankenstein should be in your list. It is definately one of my all time favorites.

Bravo must be owned by the same company that made Shrek, because I agree it should be nowhere that high. And Meet the Fockers was one of the least funny comedies I've ever seen, up there with Billy Madison and Requiem for a Dream.

Your list is rock solid. I might promote Airplain, Spinal Tap, Strange Brew, the Jerk, Planes, Trains & Automobiles, and There's Something About Mary ahead of Top Secret and Beetlejuice, but that's still a good top 20.

Oh, man, forgot about strange brew. What a hoser! Def would have moved top secret out of there, eh?
