Until recently I was living on the other side of the "Notch" in Jeffersonville, VT (during the summer, 20 minutes from said factory). I would have to say the best ice cream flavor to give to a baby is Oatmeal Cookie Chunk - it's the absolute best. It's oatmeal cookies with chunks of chocolate in vanilla ice cream. It had come out as a limited batch in 2003, but since it was sooooo terrific they've decided to keep it around as a regular flavor. I'm sure your little one loves oatmeal cookies - right? So, what could be better for his first ice cream experience? Let me know how it goes! Ok. Also, if you really want to go all out, check out the Four Sea's ice cream shop in Centerville, MA down on Cape Cod. They were shown on the recent PBS ice cream special, and it has some of the highest butter fat content or any ice cream. YUM! plus, the guy makes it himself every day!! I have to agree with Sean.
