A little different everyday

November 14, 2005

Call us crazy, but Jen and I have been discussing how Hayes looks different everyday. Know what I mean? He’s still super cute and our favorite all around boy in the world. That certainly hasn’t changed. It’s just that everyday he looks different. It’s really weird. You know, you get used to people changing slowly, but for Hayes it’s a daily thing.

Me, I just noticed I have laugh lines. Probably had those for a while, but I just noticed. Today, Hayes’ head appears to be shaped a tad different or something. He just looks different than he did yesterday. Anyone else notice this on their babies?

Yep. I describe it like the weather, always changing. One minute he’d look like my wife, the next like me…. very odd…

My boy Oliver is just behind yours in age, but he’s always changing and he has a gazillion different looks. Everyone comment on it. It’s crazy how much he’s changed in his nine months. We just got his first hair cut and he looks altogether different once again. Most adults I know look like miniature versions of themselves today. I changed all the time as a kid, and so now is my son–maybe its a strange change gene that’s been handed down.

Our son is exactly the same way. It mystifies me how one day he can look exactly like me and then the next look just like his father!
