Did anyone listen to me?

September 20, 2005

Did anyone take my advice and see Arrested Development last night? I know Matt over at Confessions of a Dumb White Guy did. If not, don’t worry, no one around here listens to me either.

Personally, I thought it was true to form. If you liked that episode full of double entendres and awkward situtations, you’re sure to love the show. Man, it was great. Anyway, if you did watch it, what did you think?

Bad news about the show. It only got 4.6 million viewers. I think it’s days are numbered. However, I discovered “My Name Is Earl” last night on NBC and it is freakin’ hilarious. Not quite as smart as AD, but Jason Lee is awesome.

Yah. I heard that. Oh well, there’s no accounting for taste. It would be a shame if they cancelled it. I wish it had been a HBO show, then no doubt it would have been a hit. My Name Is Earl likely wont last… I think it’s too clever. Not dumb enough. And no laugh track. That being said, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

BTW, when the hell is someone going to tell the networks that laugh tracks don’t work anymore. Though, if they put a laugh track on Survivor, I might actually watch it.

I hate the laugh track. I want to kill the laugh track. Maybe get it really drunk first, then tease it a little bit, then give it a nice long dirt nap.
