You may have noticed the new design. I guess it’s hard to miss. I thought it was time. I liked the other one, but it wasn’t modern enough for me… and my favorite part of it — the floating bottle — was like an inside joke, only those of you with Firefox or Safari could see it. This one’s more modern, more my style. You may have also noticed the Blogudio logo has taken a more prominent role in the design, too. Well, trying to drum up business for my Custom Designed Blogs. Do you want one? Now I feel dirty.
Other Spring Cleaning:
Retraction: When I wrote Good Morning America in all those post below, I meant the Today Show. In my defense, who does actually know which is which? They’re all parity shows, so it’s easy to mix it up. I bet their producers forget which show they work for too and show up on the wrong set all the time.
Those more eagle-eyed readers among you may have noticed that the headline at the top of your browser changed a while ago from “More Diapers. One man’s quest for modern fatherhood” to “More Diapers. Eric Sagalyn’squest for modern fatherhood.” I did this for good reason. I want to be the number one google search for Sagalyn. I lost the domain name race for sagalyn.com to my dad’s cousin. I don’t want to lose the google race. Incidently, the change of title moved me from page 4 to number 2-4, depending on time of day. Still looking for that number one spot. It still kills me that Lynne Sagalyn isn’t a real Sagalyn… she kept the name when she got divorced from a Sagalyn and she sometimes beats me. Oh well.
Does anyone know what happened to Being Daddy? It used to be one of the flagship daddy blogs, but there are no new posts since before the Super Bowl. And those posts are now getting flogged by post spammers. I hope everything is ok over there.
Well, I guess that’s it. Back to my regularly scheduled posting tomorrow.

I dig this look. The colors, the rendering of Hayes with groovy shadow and the stripes. I do love stripes. And may you get some business in design. Should I ever invest in designing my blog I will head your way. My problem is I want to learn how to do it so if you’d let me look over your shoulder and take notes I would be game. But that is creepy, I know.
Good luck in the Sagalyn race. Doesn’t Google place you depending on how many times the words appears so that if you just wrote Sagalyn, Sagalyn, Sagalyn over and over like this then you’d be bumped in the ratings? Did it work, Sagalyn?

Hi. I’m delurking to tell you that I’m very impressed with the new design! I will miss the floating bottle (love safari and firefox) and the crib bedding in the old design did inspire to go out and get new bedding for my two little men. But I agree that this new design does seem to be more you (without knowing you at all, of course!). Good luck with Blogudio, my husband is in the same biz and these are exciting times indeed. Lastly, Hayes is really delicious. Cute as anything. I have found that life gets much easier with kids at 4 months and again at 8 months.
