Putting our son in the sling and carrying him around (more or less constantly), though it wasn't a cure, did give us some degree of control in terms of consoling him. It was a life saver for us... p.s. I didn't think you'd mind a comment about colic on an unrelated post, as colic tends to occupy every aspect of our life when it's happening. I thought they were just more expensive baby crap, till I tried them. They worked wonders with my son, I actually noticed a difference after the first feeding with one.
