Oh, how things change. Tonight I made sushi for Jen. This is not all that special. I make sushi every Saturday. At least I did before Jen went and got nocked up. Last year we had a terrific birthday dinner for Jen at Bed Supperclub(pictured to left). In Bangkok. Thailand. On our honeymoon. How things have changed!

Well, to the pediatrician we went today… and now HBomb is on Zantac. We’re hoping this will help him, and preliminary results are good… though I’m not going to jinx us. I had to take today off to give Jen some respite, as this week has been taking a toll on her. She had some much needed away time and now… well…. let’s hope Zantac works as advertised!
I think we could deal with colick, if only Hayes was sleeping for more than 8 hours a day in very tiny increments. I think we could deal with his tiny sleep increments if only he didn’t bawl for 4 hours a day. We are going to the pediatrician tomorrow. Thank you. Thank you.
Hayes has the amazing ability to eat in his sleep. From what I’ve been told… he’s not alone. As I understand most babies can eat in a kind of half sleep.
I wish I could do that.
Come on. Think about it, dude. If you could eat in your sleep think of all the time you’d save. And I love to eat. Hell, I’m a trained chef. But if I could, say, skip breakfast by somehow eating while I was still asleep, it would be like getting 30 more minutes in the day! That would be a wicked pissah! Why did we lose this ability? What fates conspired against us? Anybody? This blows.
